Creative Expression Through Writing Third Grade Writing Samples
Creative Expression Through Writing Third Grade Writing SamplesWhile there are a lot of ways that you can use for creative expression in third grade, the most important is to consider developing your own. One thing that you will have to do at this age is to learn how to be creative, even with the simplest things. The most important thing is that your creativity should shine. In elementary school students would read poetry and short stories. In this case the elements are familiar, it is just that the language is simple and the topics are easy to understand. By using these elements in your own writing you will be able to write them yourself and with a great deal of success. In middle school the student is about to enter into college. The curriculum has changed a lot since they were young, but the best way for third graders to learn is through the medium of writing. Writing will show the student how to express himself and express his thoughts in an exciting manner. When they are writing, your goal is to impress the class. When third graders begin writing they will probably write some of their first writing samples and this is a good time to do a lot of experimentation. All teachers know that when children can try out new ideas and try out new ways to express themselves they will be more creative than others. For example, if you wrote a story about a frog, and that was your only idea, you may end up being even more creative than the students who had a full blown idea. You will also want to make sure that you concentrate on grammar and spelling as well as on accuracy, as this will affect the rest of your work. The more accurate your spelling and grammar the better you will perform on your tests. The same applies to grammar and punctuation. It is crucial that you write as accurately as possible so that you will be sure to perform well on your written tests.Grammar and spelling also need to be done correctly. When they read something they can judge whether or not they und erstand what is being said, and with the use of spelling and grammar they will be able to get the gist of what was said and if needed they can move on to the next section. When they are learning correct grammar and spelling, they will be well on their way to getting an excellent grade.Just like writing samples, there are rules that you should follow that include common sense and not just the majority opinion. If your classmates prefer to do something a certain way, you need to say so, but don't start bashing someone else because they are doing the same thing. Don't be nasty or rude about it either. This is just bad form. While some people may think that fourth grade is too advanced, I believe that it is not. The important thing is that your students are able to express themselves, to express their thoughts, and to be creative. This is what will make them really learn and will also help them develop a strong foundation for college.
